Typography, packaging design, and music lyrics

Hi!

After months of contemplating a new, original idea on what I should design for, I have finally finished the first project yesterday. I have created an Instagram page featuring my own work focusing solely on music lyrics, typography, and packaging design called "Taste These Lyrics." Taste These Lyrics was inspired by various music artists/bands and a passion for music and typography. It turns music lyrics into its own type of branding + packaging design that conveys a certain mood within those lyrics. In simple, straight up terms its: lyrical mood meets packaging.

My Thoughts Exactly

Today, I stumbled upon this article that stunned me, which isn't often. It was something I have always believed for the very same reasons mentioned. I had never come across someone with the same beliefs and reasons as me like Paul has. You are always told the message that "you're not alone" with tons of inspirational quotes thrown at you. I like to be realistic in a kinder, honest way than an optimist bombarding you with quotes. To an extent, we are all alone and have to live our own lives, struggles and triumphs.

Save Hindsight the TV show!

Please help us and sign this petition :)

So, for those of you who do not know, Hindsight is being cancelled when it was already determined to be renewed. It had that 90's vibe and was a VH1 drama TV show that was incredibly original and hooked you in. There wasn't a real reason for it to have been cancelled except that the network is starting to reshape their image for TV shows. If another network can pick this up, that would absolutely be great! Who doesn't love the 90's? Also, please feel free to share this around! We need more signatures! :D

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?  7 years as of the 4th of July :)

  2. What does your username mean? Actually, awhile ago I looked through my random itunes playlist for something that stood out and sort of described me. The song was breakaway by kelly clarkson. My favorite number and birth day is 13, so I used that number. 

  3. Describe yourself in three words. Creative, Determined, Open-minded

  4. Are you left or right handed? left

  5. What was your first deviation?  Flowers 2 by Breakaway13

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? That's a hard one haha. Um... probably photo manipulations or designing logos

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Recently, I've really found a passion for Mural art with people blending into their surroundings, so probably that. 

  8. What was your first favourite?  Design Heart by DigitalDean

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? I think photography

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? I don't have one

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? I'm not too sure. 

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? By liking my artwork I work hard and strive to perfect each time I create something. :) Just having someones support and knowing they like it keeps me going and not giving up. 

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? Pencils, paper, sharpies, photoshop and illustrator as mostly my two favorite programs

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? At my computer desk usually or outside in a quiet, sunny area

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Receiving over 200 favorites on a deviation in half a year I worked hard on. It now has over 300. It was my biggest accomplishment. I was even surprised when I reached over 50.
